PMO jumped in ‘Death well’

Mr.Clean’s PMO leaked Pathak report to wash out involvement of Congress in the Oil for Food scam. Congress worried that adverse effect of Oil for Food scam might be on Indo-U.S. nuclear deal & on coming assembly election of UP. Why Brijesh Mishra hided Oil for Food scam?

Recently Indian politics have been full of surprises and controversies due to various Singhs mainly Natwar, Jagat, Amrinder Singh, Manmohan, Amar, Jaswant, V.P.and Arjun Singh. With parliament’s "Monsoon session," both the ruling and opposition parties have incurred headaches by their own members.

Khushwant Singh in his article of nov.19, 2005 rightly predicted to remark on Natwar:” What was pertinent is should he have remained a foreign minister in a government which did not share his views on foreign affairs? There were a few important international conferences in the offing where his views would have given a false picture of the government’s intentions. And in the Winter Session of Parliament, he will be a sitting duck for the Opposition and put Manmohan Singh’s government in an acutely embarrassing position.” Khushwant Singh has authority in Englih Literacy but no much in politics. But his predivtion is relality of today.Politicial stalwart failed to predict this.

V.P.Singh as Mandal I and Arjun Singh Mandal II defamed themselves to lead Reservation policy. Jaswant Singh, Former Foreign Minister made himself humorous to raise the ‘Mole in PMO’ issue. Manmohan Singh will be named in Greenish Book as said by Natwar Singh another Former Foreign Minister. Natwar is going to ‘Aar Paar’ fight with Congress. Amar Singh becomes a new friend of Natwar to drop salt on the wound of Sonia Gandhi. It is being said that Amarinder Singh brother-in-law of Natwar leaked a selected portion of his father Manvener Singh’s ‘Will’ in which late maharaja warned his sons means especially Congress Chief Minister of Punjab Amrinder Singh to be careful towards Natwar. Intention behind the leakage is to show that Natwar was not reliable in the eyes of his father in law.

They all claim minor royal lineage for a start. They are also distinguished by a style that can best be described as sanctimonious, long-winded and self-righteous. Except Amrinder Singh others have no political base and depend on the benevolence of their leaders or parties to prop up their political fortunes. All are political lightweights, creating a furor best described as making a mountain out of controversies.

In this article please allow me to draw attention towards two suicidal excuses given to its main opponent Congress by the BJP when NDA was in power. Its leaders like Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his close associate Jaswant singh had no incentive to go after wrongdoing by the Congress which was in opposition. First Jaswant Singh himself highlighted ‘Mole in Narsimharao’s PMO’ in his book ‘A call to honor’. It is clear that Jaswant Singh had knowledge that there was a mole in Narsimha Rao’s PMO. But he kept silence when he was minister. “Not to investigate’ the matter at that time is not excusable.

Second not excusable mistake was the appointment of Brijesh Mishra, son of late Dwarka Prasad Mishra, former Congress Chief Minister of MP as a head of PMO and took Comrade Kulkarni in the confidence for media. Both are now in nowhere. In 2004 just before the previous Lok Sabha election a West Asian daily newspaper disclosed the Indian connection in the oil-for-food programme. An Indian embassy in the region duly informed South Block about Natwar Singh's alleged involvement. Question arises why not Brijesh Mishra head of PMO at that time embarrassed Natwar Singh and the Congress?
Probable reason should be Brijesh Mishra’s close friendship with Natwar Singh. The former Indian Foreign Service officers have stayed friends despite Natwar's no-holds-barred attacks against Jaswant Singh.

I recall on Sept 27, 2001 Rahul Gandhi and his girl Columbian friend Juanita alias Veronique, were arrested in USA’s Logan Airport in Boston, by FBI. Rahul was with an Italian passport and suit case full of dollars. He called his mother and in turn she called Brijesh Mishra who was then Chief of PMO. Mishra’s daughter Jyotsna, after marriage to an Italian is living in Italy. So there is nexus between them. Why has ‘Bahu’ kept Italian citizenship and house in Italy? Why did Rahul Gandhi MP go to USA on Italian Passport?

In my one article published at:

I wrote:” Pseudo-Secularists felt pain in their stomach to see BJP in power. Hubbe Ali kam; Bughze Muawiya zyada. They are in the game not because they love Ali (read, the Congress) but because they hate Muawiya (BJP) more. RSS understood this well but BJP leadership forgot. In the process of making friends to others the leadership overlooked their committed Hindu voters. "Arrogance" of the party leadership and MPs and their reluctance to meet the wishes of their Hindu committed voters cost the party dear. You can loose confidence with in a minute but to win you have go long way. BJP should think what it did for its ideology and Hindu voters in last 6 years?
