In the beginning Govt. sources tried to blame Pathak Committee for the leakage. But Justice Pathak, a former Judge of the International Court of Justice, said there was no leak of the report at his end.

Before leaking matter came in loud, Congress Party spokesman Abhishek Singhvi boasted, "The report is there for anyone to see. It is a very high-powered commission chaired by a former Chief Justice of India." Congress and its President tried to wash hands to show leaked portion in Congress “hand” as clean chit. This is clear indication not only of the leakage but also the intention behind this leak. Congress has murdered secrecy with intention to save itself which is greater sin than leakage for money.

Zeenews today reported: The Madurai bench of the Madras High Court has ruled that Section 302 of the IPC cannot be used against a person who murders his wife who has an extramarital affair, despite repeated warnings and requests. Justice M Chockalingam and Justice A Selvam, constituting the bench, held that the act of the accused would amount to culpable homicide under Section 304(I)of IPC and modified the conviction of a man, Babu, (life sentence under Section 302 of the IPC) to seven years rigorous imprisonment. The judges referred to the argument of the accused that the panchayatdars had forced him to live with his wife, who continued to have an illicit relationship with another man, though she had a child through Babu. The circumstances would prove that the act of the accused did not fall under the ambit of murder, the judges held. The crime had followed provocation by the deceased. The offence would attract only 304 Part I of the IPC. It is enough to award seven years RI for Babu, they said.

Barely half-an-hour after Singh went on air with his revelations, Sonia's political secretary Ahmed Patel who was treasurer of Congress at the time of Oil for Food scam said the Congress president had nothing to be defensive about the letter. "It was a letter that conveyed goodwill message. Several delegations travelling abroad carry letter from the party president carrying such messages. It was not an introductory letter for Natwar to Saddam. It did not ask Saddam to give oil coupons to Natwar," Patel said.

Seeking to turn the tables on Singh, Patel said, “Before making any allegation against Soniaji, political parties should compare the three letters written by Natwar to Saddam and the one by the Congress president.”

Sri Prakash Jaiswal said: "Even if anyone goes out of the party, there is no affect on the health of the party. In the last 60 years, so many have come and gone and Congress remained unaffected by any threats,"

Natwar had said, “The only strength I had was the Congress party. So how can the Congress party and I be divorced.”

Canada’s Liberal party & Sonia’s Congress

In India’s present crisis question arises: Is the Justice Pathak committee report a white- wash? Inquiry committees are famous in our country for one reason: Nothing substantial ever comes of them. Here we can call corrupt acts of Buta Singh and Sibu Soren in Narsimha Rao’s Govt. MM was also finance minister at that time.

Goodale won re-election to the House of Commons handily in the general election on January 23, 2006, but lost his cabinet position with the Liberal defeat. Here we ca say that Sonia and his son can win their constiuencies with few others with congress defeat overall.
