Hussain’s Nude Exhibition

Why do Hindus come first to protect honor of Bharat Mata God Gooddesses and even Mahatma Gandhi? UK Hindus Protect Bhart Mata. Krishna will Re-born. Mahabharata will be fought. Wait wait not for long.

Padmashri in 1955, the Padma Bhushan in 1973, Padma Vibhushan in 1989, and nominated to the Rajya Sabha in 1986, 91-year-old artist MF Hussain has tendered an apology for the nude painting of Bharatmata, which also landed him in a court battle. On May 12

‘Mother Ethopia’

I read a story about ‘Mother Ethopia’ at: www.ethiopianart.org/articles/articles.php
At the bottom there is a opinion of Esseye Medhin, 2002:
If any charlatan, driven by the frenzy of the contemporary art market contemplates the price of Mother Ethiopia , he should know the reaction of the public and the very wish of the Maitre: Mother Ethiopia is priceless, for it has been elevated to a national icon, and a sacred image.
I know in the church, Melka Seil – Hymn of Icons, teaches that we should say grace, give honor, bow, kneel down and beseech mercy through the consecrated icons of the Lord, Our Lady, Angels, Saints and Martyrs. A prayer for the country is also a common ritual. But reverence and veneration for the Painting Mother Ethiopia was not in my mind. If Mother Ethiopiais elevated to sacred image status among the population and becomes an icon, what will we say of Maitre Artiste Afewerk?

Free play with Hindu Sentiments

Govt. acted promptly on dargah which was being demolished for widening roads. After that more than hundred Hindu temples are demolished in Mumbai without any hurdle. Govt. is silent over the demolition of the famous Krishna temple in Moscow and a century-old Hindu temple in Malaysia. Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh called up the Denmark Prime Minister to object to the publication of the offensive cartoon caricaturing the Prophet.

Posters with cut-out faced cartoon of Atal-Advani

In Bihar election posters were prepared to show Duga killing Atal and Adani cartoons.
The idol of the RJD chief - with his silver hair intact - was made holding a sudarshan chakra, the celestial weapon of Lord Krishna; his wife Chief Minister Rabri Devi was in the likeness of the Goddess Durga holding a trident and in a bright yellow sari; and Sonia Gandhi was projected as deity of sacrifice with a bow and arrow in her hands. In one poster Sonia looks like Subraamaniam Bharathi a famous national poet.

"Beware, Religion!" exhibition was presented in the museum at Moscow from 14 to 18 January 2003. In it were represented exhibits that aroused indignation of the part of many believers, in particular an icon of the Savior against a background of a "Coca Cola" ad with the inscription "This is my blood," and also a figure of a saint with a cut-out face, where those who wished could place their head.

"Bande Mataram."

"I will tell you broadly what I feel. I am only human. I am covetous. I would have good things for my country. If I am obliged, I would snatch them and filch them. I have anger. I would be angry for my country's sake. If necessary, I would smite and slay to avenge her insults. I have my desire to be fascinated, and fascination must be supplied to me in bodily shape by my country. She must have some visible symbol casting its spell upon my mind. I would make my country a Person, and call her Mother, Goddess, Durga--for whom I would redden the earth with sacrificial offerings. I am human, not divine."
Sandip Babu (Sandip Chandranath Babu) is here leapt to his feet with uplifted arms and shouted "Hurrah!"--The next moment he corrected himself and cried: "Bande Mataram."………….
Don't you remember what the poet says?
Come, Sin, O beautiful Sin,Let thy stinging red kisses pour down fiery red wine into our blood.Sound the trumpet of imperious evilAnd cross our forehead with the wreath of exulting lawlessness,O Deity of Desecration,Smear our breasts with the blackest mud of disrepute, unashamed.
Down with that righteousness, which cannot smilingly bring rack and ruin."………
My husband came up to me and whispered: "This is my master, of whom I have so often told you. Make your obeisance to him."
I bent reverently and took the dust of his feet. He gave me his blessing saying: "May God protect you always, my little mother." I was sorely in need of such a blessing at that moment.

'Gandhi-bashing'.

“indiancause.com” is a patriotic force which forced Maxim to apologize for 'Gandhi-bashing'. Secularists call it communal. Maxim Magazine of America has 1.7 Million circulations per month. Article headlined "Maxim’s Kick-Ass Workout," depicts a strapping man in a "Muscle" T-shirt beating up an image of Mahatma Gandhi. See photos and details at: http://www.indiacause.com/Cause/C17_Maxim_Gandhi.htm
Is 10 janpath did this?

An Australian artist received angry complaints from the Thai Consulate after painting the Thai flag and a symbol of Thailand's king on a pair of sneakers. To the Thai people, wearing the royal "Garuda" symbol -- half-man, half-bird -- on one's feet is considered a grave insult to their revered monarch. After hearing from the Thai Consulate, the artist apologized and said he would remove the image from his Web site.

UK Hindus seek removal of Hussain exhibition
London, May 23: The Hindu Forum of Britain has asked Asia House in London to withdraw an exhibition of the works of Indian artist MF Hussain, claiming his "offensive" paintings of Hindu gods and goddesses have outraged community members around the world.
Hear! What does Sanatan Kumar say?: Secular Indian Govt will never take any action against M. F. Husian - vote bank politics. Hindus living in India are equally humble (impotant). But Hindus living in west are not that scared of Him, they protest if someone put Lord Ram on slippers etc.. There is a protest against Husian for the denigration of Hindu deities in Washington, DC On June 2, 2006 from 11 am to 3 pm, in front of Indian Embassy. Please join Hindus of North America.

This side that side
Every where,
Dishonor of Bharatmata
Hindu God Goddesses
And Mahatma Gandhi,

Oh Lord Krishna
Re-born re-born again
to fight Mahabharat again
We can't wait
Can't wait no long
Hear my pray
Oh Lord krishna
