Pope Oppose Conversion Laws

Pope Says: conversion laws in India are "unconstitutional".Supreme Court gave rights to every state to legislate laws to stop conversion through force/allurement. Laws enacted by separate states are based on Supreme Court(SC) ruling in 1979. How could it be unconstitutional? That's the reason missionary groups do NOT knock at the door of the Supreme Court, rather build up one-sided media stories like this.

It has done so, because it made a judgement, POVERTY is a disabling factor in protecting one's religious rights. Also, rights to propagate one’s religion in our constitution have its limitations. It does not mean, I can go and convert somebody because he cannot protect himself. Neogi Commission, which looked into Missionary activity in MP was setup by a Congress Govt. and the Congress Govt. had passed laws to stop conversion. Jayalalitha govt. passed the same law but after Congress American pressure she withdrew the same. Conversion Bill passed in Gujarat iis also one reason for cancellation of Modi’s Visa by America.

Rajasthan Governor Pratibha Patil has returned a bill passed by the state assembly seeking a ban on religious conversion, saying its provisions would affect the citizens' right to freedom of religion. In whose instruction did Governor follow USCIR, Bush and Sonia instead of President APJ Kalam?

Remove Christianity sponsor EC

Former Foreign Minister Jaswant Singh moves SC on May 20, 2006 for removal of Sonia-loyalist Navin Chawla as Election Commissioner. Amar Singh has already demanded his resignation. Chawla would have tenure of two years as CEC beginning from 2008. If the present Lok Sabha completes its five-year term, he would be the CEC in charge of conducting the next general elections. Conversion of Gandhis?

Biographer Naveen Chawla said that he once asked her bluntly, "Do you convert?" She replied, "Of course I convert. I convert you to be a better Hindu or a better Muslim or a better Protestant. Once you've found God, it's up to you to decide how to worship him" ("Mother Teresa Touched Other Faiths," Associated Press, 9/7/97).
Mr. Navin, I have found more than one God. Do you and she find like that. Please let me know you and Soniaji are Athen or Christian or Parsi or Muslim or Hindu. Please don’t hide.
